• Why morbidity and mortality from infectious diseases has fallen so drastically over the course of the twentieth century, are our children more healthy?

Several medical papers will be distributed for use during the session

• Introduction

• Users' guide to detecting misleading claims in clinical research reports

• Facilities for reporting Adverse reactions in Europe

• 'Placebo' controlled trials – acellular Pertussis

• Group or personal reading of MMR placebo controlled trial with feedback and discussion

Part Two

• Bacterial cross immunity and its implications re selective vaccination and antibiotic use (with specific reference to meningitis)

• Immunity to the meningococcus

• Vaccinating children against 'flu – does the evidence make sense?

• An orthodox but not widely disseminated view on fever reduction

• Nutrition vs Vaccination

• Plenary

• the Problems caused by Suppression of Fever

• the Basic Needs of children to maintain Optimal Health

• Basic strategies for coping with any acute childhood illness or infection

• a Simple Guide to Homoeopathy for Acute Fever
